EMI Neurometer 200Ma is required for EMI Vers4 programme
This unit inspired by Dr. Arthur Rothwell is based on Yoshio Nakatani’s original diagnostic unit. Available only in Australia, Micronesia, South Pacific and Asia. An extremely accurate and stable electronic device for measuring meridian dermal electrical resistance. Readings are extremely accurate. The circuitry design in this instrument is without peer. Comes with instruction manual
Circuitry built by Ray Meyer (CSIRO 1967 - `987) Myer Medical Electronics now incorporated under Advantage Health Care P/L Ray now is devoting his time to other areas. For an unusual present CLICK HERE for Rays Website
The improved EMI Neurometer is calibrated at 200 Ma which co relates to the electrical resistance of the skin.
Electro permeable points are of "small resistance" and
"large capacity"
Our Neurometer is designed NOT to stimulate a point when measuring. The EMI neurometer offers the most modern technology / circuitry available. We use a NINE VOLT battery NOT a 12V
or Higher.(12 V or higher can stimulate a point and give incorrect reading) Many devices on the market today still use the old antiquated circuitry that can give incorrect readings or unstable output.
If you use a 12v meter as WAS recommended by Dr Nakatane a slight tingling can be felt which STIMULATES the source point.
The art of Taking of Pulses has gradually been lost, the majority of Chinese acupuncturists rely on the recorded formulae. These cookbook recipes have been passed down though generations 6 –10 or 12 points for one indication but NO ONE KNEW WHICH OF THESE POINTS WERE RESPONSIBLE FOR A CLINICAL RESULT. There is no scientific explanation of the use of acupuncture points
The EMI Neurometer is designed to measure Galvanic skin resistance....We recommend 9 V NOT 12 V ......12 V can stimulate and give incorrect reading, although Dr Nakatane experimented with 12 and 20 V neurometers.
Ages ago we became intrigued by electro acupuncture and measuring devices. The astounding fact was that on examining the circuitry, it was found that it had not advanced from its original format as introduced by Dr. Nakatani in the 1950's, nor were recent advances in electronics utilized. Glaring deficiencies were apparent in available equipment. The circuitry in this instrument is without peer.
As in other forms of electro acupuncture practice is required to achieve consistent results. Too much pressure or repeated checking of a point can change the electrical properties of the skin in that area and lead to error & usually results in a higher reading. A light pressure of 2 –3 grams is sufficient.
The EMI computer programme shows where source points are during a mapping and what points to treat after a mapping........SIMPLE!
