This is applicable to ALL health practitioners

                                                 Ryodoraku or EMI

EMI (Ryodoraku) is a sophisticated, scientifically accredited method of computerised acupuncture based upon Dr. Nakatane’s research and theory of RYODORAKU at Osaka University. Created by John A. Amaro D.C., FIAMA, Dipl.Ac. (NCCAOM) New, updated, EMI computer program. Windows XP or newer with Service Pack 2

There are several similar programmes on the market in Aus, Europe, and the US. I have yet to see one that is superior or better value for money. Our programmes are without peer

This method is extremely simple and no knowledge of complex acupuncture nomenclature, philosophy or mnemonics is required. Nor is there any need to memorise acupuncture point positions. Points can easily be located using the EMI neurometer. Mapping and treatment takes less than 10 minutes.

Many people mistakenly assume that traditional Chinese medicine is practiced only in China, but acupuncture & herbal medicine have been practiced in Japan & Korea for centuries, and now in the West

In Japan, acupuncture has taken some different paths than the acupuncture in China.

The Japanese have always been an investigative race, constantly endeavouring to improve on that which already exists. As a result they are among the world leaders in technological development. Japanese acupuncture is a stimulus therapy, which may be practiced independently, as a supplementary therapy, or used in conjunction with traditional Western medicine.

Dr Yoshio Nakatani. M.D. developed Ryodoraku (EMI) at Osaka University after observing some extraordinary events. The therapy, developed from thousands of clinical trials and observations, was found to be very effective.

As a result, there are thousands of medical doctors, and other health therapists in Japan, and throughout the world who practice Ryodoraku autonomic nervous system regulating therapy

(E M I)

Using a device called a Neurometer or Auto Probe (an instrument capable of measuring minute electrical impulses digital or manual) readings are taken from the key meridian points at the wrists and ankles. These points are called source points and have a different electrical resistance than other acupuncture points.

The readings are taken manually or automatically and entered into the programme during the examination. This only takes a few minutes.

The programme walks you through graphically, and anatomically displays the source points.

In the hands of a trained practitioner it will diagnose, show imbalances, and select the preferred treatment.

The resulting print out, which you can give your patient to compare with future mapping's, gives details of excesses, deficiencies, and extreme imbalances of meridians, and if they are evident, the possible symptoms which may arise from these imbalances. In fact, a differential diagnosis!!

Not only this, but it selects the points requiring treatment and graphically illustrates the anatomical position of these points!!

Treatment times are short, is non invasive and treatment can be needle less.

A simple installation manual makes it a breeze to install and use on a suitable computer.

Electro Meridian Imaging, a refined computerised development of Ryodoraku is very useful clinically, easily understood by practitioners not familiar with Eastern medicine. The chart obtained following measurement of source points clearly shows Excesses & Deficiencies of all 12 meridians and what points to treat according to tonification, sedation or split meridian application. Examination results are displayed by numerical values along with the point to treat for correction, as well as graphic interpretation

One of the most significant discoveries of ryodoraku was the discovery of split meridians, which had never before been seen or described in the history of acupuncture. For example, in pulse diagnosis, the pulse of the Spleen, Lung and San Jiao meridian are always found in the right wrist, whereas the Gallbladder, Kidney and Liver are always analyzed in the left wrist. When one derives a diagnosis from the 28 pulse qualities, it can reveal a multitude of factors that can only be ascertained through the pulse. However, it cannot and does not reveal what ryodoraku has discovered. Windows based, minimum computer configuration 486. During “Ryodoraku / EMI examination, graphic illustrations clearly show the precise location of the acupoint to examine for either the “Main Meridian“ Yuan (Nakatani) or “Musculo-Tendino Meridian” Tsing (Akabane).. Graph style may be printed in four different formats. Extreme ease of operation, an assistant may easily perform this examination with the updated graphics.

The time consuming Chinese "Taking of Pulses" has became obsolete!
