EQUILASER used as a physiotherapy/low level laser therapy tool greatly increases the speed of healing of all injuries encountered in high performance animals. The healing time of all muscle, ligament and tendon injuries is greatly reduced, it rejuvenates worn and painful joints, clears up slow healing and chronic infections and reduces both the formation of , and old scar tissue.
EQUILASER used as an acupuncture/trigger point stimulator allows anyone with a general equestrian knowledge and an acupuncture "cook book" to be very effective in treating the majority of injuries in their performance horse. Unlike conventional needle acupuncture the EQUILASER is painless and the operator does not have to be competent in needle insertion (a potentially hazardous situation for both the animal and human) or with the exact location of the points, as the probe can be moved around until the desired point is located.
EQUILASER is less time consuming than needles, point stimulation is for ten seconds as compared with around thirty minutes, and it cannot introduce infection and has no known side effects.

The EQUILASER is a portable battery powered infrared therapy laser available in three models, 25,
50 ,or 100mW It is suitable for both acupuncture and physiotherapy applications. It emits radiation in the near infrared part of the spectrum which is the region of greatest penetration for animals. The radiation diverges from the probe at approximately 30 degrees so that a large area can be irradiated at one time, making treatment easier and faster than with narrow beam instruments.
